New Sandals

I purchased some new sandals today. I felt this necessary as my old flippers were making my stomach churn due to their overwhelming stench, a stench brought about by a good soaking from pool water the night before. The old sandals were pushing five years old. It was time they were put to rest.

The new ones are nice. They're the Grey/Yellow ones.

Purchasing this sandal is somewhat a victory for me. I was unsure if I could actually wear such a sandal, as the sandal screamed 18-25 to me. Once I had tried them on however, I felt that at 35, I could still pull it off. Or put it on. Whatever.

Backstory: It's quite important to note that at one time I was reluctant to go open-toe at work. Now however, I am secure enough in myself that I am willing to go open-toe in a workplace environment.

Another sign that I continue to grow as a person.
