it's this sort of stuff that makes me shudder...

"Scientists think universe shaped like soccer ball"
So, if the Universe is shaped like a soccer ball and is finite, what the heck is on the other side? Other universes of in the shape of assorted sporting balls? This sort of theory only fuels notions of alternate universes where our dopplegangers live the lives we actually wish we were living. Or something. I have to stop thinking about this because I may be freaking myself out.
